Beyond Reality - Dream Higher Than Anyone Else

Denzel looked at the clock and it was one minute after seeing the light coming from the book. "Hmmm... Must have fainted." he whispered to himself. He started to look for the book but he didn't see anything at all.

Daru decided to sleep and hope he'll forget it all by morning

Denzel woke up, ate his breakfast and walked towards school, just like another day, but still thinking about the event that happened the day before.

Daru went to work in the morning with a groan
"I really need to find something better to do than a builder"Said Daru as he drove into the drive of the house that needed repairing
He walked up to the door and knocked gently 3 times and a man opened the door,the man who was in the dream
"So you wanted your shed repaired right?"Said Daru and looked at the man
"Yep"Said the Man and turned away"Right through there"
Daru retrieved his toolbox then ran back to the door with a puff,before going in and out the back of the house

Denzel went to school. After school he was going back home when he saw Daru near the man's house. "Huh, isn't that?" he wondered.

Daru shuddered as he felt like he was being watched and started repairing the broken Shed using his big red toolbox

Denzel approached Daru slowly watching him work "..." He wasn't saying anything, but then "Hey, you!" he shouted.

Daru jfell back in surprise then looked over the fence at the boy
"Yes?"Asked Daru as he got up with a grunt"Was I hammering too loud again?"

"Hmmm... Sorry... I thought you were someone else, sorry." answered Denzel

"Strange you remind me of someone I met yesterday"Said Daru"The same kind of voice,you got any brothers?"

"No. Do you have any too? I don't think so." said Denzel

"None that I know of"Said Daru with a laugh"You getting Deja Vu about this?"

"Let's get straight to the point. Did you meet a certain magic book yesterday?" asked Denzel with a serious tone.

"Well a book appeared in my apartment"Said Daru and leaned over"I'll be honest about something here,this guy i'm working for now i met him in this dream i had about robots"

"You... Went to a dream world for a while didn't you? We met when that thing called Fairy talked to us, right?" said Denzel

"That was you...?"Said Daru scratched his head"Sorry about calling you a stress head by the way"

"No problem. Hmmm... Since everything is ok for now, let's continue what we were doing, something will probably happen later, so stay alert." said Denzel

"Alright then see ya later kid"Said Daru and walked back over to the shed"This could do with a repaint..."

Then the strange noise appeared again and both could hear Fairy's voice "Are you ready to travel outside this world? Somewhere, they need you!" "Huh? What is going on?" said Denzel

"Who needs me at the moment?"Asked Daru then laughed"A trainee builder?"

A shiny light appeared and both were in Fairy's Realm. "Welcome again, dreamers. As you remember, it is your duty to protect the worlds created by you and other Secret Dreamers. It looks that one world is about to perish and needs your help right now. Are you ready to go there? Remember, if you fail, you will never come back to reality again..."

"Eh oh well"Said Daru"Reality ain't great"

"And that may include your death too" answered Fairy "Not that great now, huh?" said Denzel "Now, Secret Dreamers I just need to hear from your mouth that you want to do this. I need your yes." "Yeah, why not?" answered Denzel

"Yeah i ain't got much to lose"Said Daru

And so, both Denzel and Daru were warped to another world by seeing again that great light. In the new world, they were standing on the ground and both woke up at the same time. Denzel got up "What is this place?" he looked around. It was a big desert canyon around them.
