Beyond Reality - Dream Higher Than Anyone Else

"Oh please god let me survive.."Daru said"I have so many games left to complete..."

"Daru..." said Denzel "You're kidding, aren't you? You don't want to lose your life because of some video games? You're even weirder than I thought!" "You geek..." added Melissa.

Daru laughed
"Yes.."Daru said"So yes..."

"GET IN YOUR BIKES!!!" Kevin shouted with such convition and passion. It was a long time since any biker of the village could hear Kevin screaming like that. The other bikers were looking at him with a big smile, they knew that Kevin was about to give everything to save them. "Amazing... Such inspiring leadership!" thought Denzel.

Daru got on his bike and smiled
"Let's do this"He then said

The 13 bikes engines were turned on as they Kevin was indicating the team's formation. They started to leave out the village as every other villager was waving and wishing good luck. Zig was frustrated for not going with them.

Daru looked back sadly then joined the end of the formation

As they were riding, you could hear the angry sound of the Angels. Kevin, Denzel and Melissa were right in the front of formation and Daru was at the rear with the other bikers. "Aren't you scared?" asked Kevin "Who isn't?" answered Denzel "We are facing something that is not human. We barely even know something about it. Everything is uncertain" "You are right, boy!" said Kevin "Who knows what is going to happen with us now...". There was still some time left before they reached the Route.

Daru felt uncomfortable as he looked at the bikers and felt like something was not right
"Could this Rider be a spirit..."Daru thought and looked around briefly before catching a glance of silver on a bikers hand under their sleeve"Could that be...?"
Once Daru focused on the Rider he realised it not talking amongst the others but just stayed deathly still as if it had been frozen

As the bikers were always riding forward, they were arriving at the Route 66. Denzel and Kevin stopped talking and focused on the road. "Almost there!" shouted Kevin.

Daru shook his head and looked forward.He must have been seeing things.

As they were arriving, they saw the typical sign of the "Route 66". As they kept riding, another "6" digit in flames appeared in the sign.

Daru gasped at the sign then looked down
"Why have cool things got to be involved with death..."Daru thought

"Prepare yourselves!" Kevin shouted "AND RAAAACE!" he added as he went even faster with his bike. Everybody else started to accelerate until full speed was reached.

Daru kept his eyes focused on the road ahead and refused to look at the rider he saw earlier to confirm his suspicions

"When is that guy coming?" thought Denzel as he was paying attention to anything that could happen.

A scream was heard from the middle of the formation and Daru turned to see a bike on it's side in flames with no biker in sight
"It begins.."Daru said"Great...!"

"12..." thought Kevin and as he noticed the frozen guy who was already being left behind "11..." Denzel started to tremble in fear as he was riding the bike. Melissa and Kevin were calmly riding their bikes as the other's reaction were different.

The frozen bikers face slowly started to fade away into dark as a hood came up from behind his t-shirt which had also darkened.He was actually the Biker!
"Watch out guys"Daru said looking at the biker which now had metal claws on his arms
