Beyond Reality - Dream Higher Than Anyone Else

"There is no winner, you don't know how to ride properly, haha!" shouted Zig with a big sarcasm "Gee, thanks..." said Denzel. "Don't worry" said Zig "I've seen worse. Let's just say you were lucky this time..."

"Lucky how?"Daru asked

"Yeah, whatever..." said Zig, not wanting to answer Daru's question. As he finished talking he started to write a letter really fast and handed it to Denzel "Deliver this to Melissa, then if you please." he asked.

"Well lets get going I guess"Said Daru

They arrived at Melissa's Machine Shop. "There you are, kids." she said "Here, this is for you!" said Denzel as he handed Zig's letter. Melissa read it then said "Ok, this is all for today, tomorrow I will give you new instructions. And consider yourself lucky, as Zig already said." she added a smile at the end her line.

"Hmm..."Daru mumbled something then walked outside

And so both were at their beds in the Mechanic Shop. "Do you really think we should go to Route 66, Daru?" asked Denzel who was already laying down on his bed and hands behind his head.

"Yeah I think its linked to why we're here"Said Daru"Also after thinking it seems we're somehow lucky to still be alive here for some reason"

"Why? We've only been here for one day. Still, they do not seem bad people. It seems that they have a certain personality and a different way of living..." said Denzel.

"Theres something off about this place"Said Daru"And I intend to find out what"

"Nice thing you said!" said Denzel "It seems that everybody is not hating us. I don't know it's weird, but it sounds that they were expecting us. They accepted us so easily..."

"Yes that's something I also feel suspicious about"Said Daru"They might even be listening in..."

"Haha, don't be so dramatic dude, what if they listen to us? I don't care anyway, haha! Just kidding... But they are cool, I know they are fine people." said Denzel

"I like to think about things like this"Said Daru"Of course they are likely to be fine,but their is always a chance"

And so they have fallen asleep. During these days, both were doing jobs for Melissa and at their free time their started practicing at Zig's track. Little by little, everybody knew their name, Denzel and Daru, two good boys who appeared from nowhere. Some said that they were angels from the sky, others creatures from the demon... They were full of mysteries for the villagers. One day, they both got an invitation from Kevin Flame saying:

"Hey, how are you doing, ya kiddos? I want you to meet me near the bar we are always at. However, come prepared, this will be no normal day... Kevin Flame"

"Might finally be something interesting"Said Daru and sighed"I miss my old life... where I didn't have to get involved haha"

"..." Denzel stared at Daru with a strange look. "Well, anyway let's go...". As they entered they saw the sign of the bar "Family Reunion" and all the bikers were inside with a dead look. "What happenned here?" asked Denzel. Kevin appeared with a worried look "Remember when we told you that in three days we would go to Route 66? We canceled that mission and postponed it, because not everybody was ready. But a guy secretly went there with his bike... And... Just... Don't look at the roof... Because there is a dead man there... And a bike above him!"

"Wow..."Murmered Daru"Same thing as last time then?"

"Then, we will not look..." said Denzel "Don't ever..." said Kevin Flame with the most serious tone they ever heard "Get out of this village! EVER! That's why I want you to come here. To warn you. This is a proof that we are not joking about this." Kevin then calmed down after saying those scary things to them. "Before you leave" he added "I want you to participate in local races. It is time for you to rank up in this village if you want to get real names and a better life."

"This reminds of a solve the mystery rpg game I had once for the psp"Said Daru to Denzel"Everything is sounding so planned,don't you think?"

Denzel couldn't answer Daru since he started to frighten as he walked out of the bar. "Don't forget to meet the locals and ask them about racing." said Kevin Flame.

"You alright Denzel?"Asked Daru and followed him out of the bar

Denzel looked at the roof of the bar and when he saw the dead biker he started to throw up. Up there people could see the dead smashed body laying down at the top of the roof and the bike on a vertical position like it was looking to the sky. Blood was starting to reach the floor trough drops falling from the roof.

Daru didn't look and just walked off,in the direction of Melissa's Shop

A local went to see Denzel's condition. They gave him a cup with hot water and sugar to calm him down. Then Denzel got up and joined Daru who was already near Melissa's Shop.
