Beyond Reality - Dream Higher Than Anyone Else

"Well that's true i guess"Said Daru"I suppose stick with them for now then"

"Come on, let's just explore this place before going back to Kevin, ok?" suggested Denzel.

"That what i was going to say,but it isn't it a bit dangerous for you?"Asked Daru

"Well... We don't know until we try. Besides, we are stuck in this world until we check out what is going on." said Denzel "That is indeed right" said Fairy

"Well i guess check out Route 66 then?"Said Daru

"Not yet... Besides, it must be a little far. Maybe we could start gaining some respect here and then see if we can get us a bike or two." suggested Denzel

"Well lets do that then"Replied Daru

Fairy dissapeared. They started to explore the town. Most of the people on the streets were bikers. Further, there was a Bike Shop with all types of bikes. "That's cool" said Denzel "Maybe we could get enough money to buy the cheapest one. Who should we talk to, if we want to get some money then?"

"Let's look for a shop that is looking for workers"Said Daru"Then gather some money to buy a bike"

"So, you want some money huh?" said Kevin as he appeared again "So it seems you want to stay around here. Maybe I can get a nice job for you. Come with me, I'll show you a nice place to work."

"That would be great thanks"Said Daru and whispered to Denzel with a smile"All good so far"

And they both arrived at a machine shop. There were some mechanics there. "This is a local machine shop" said Kevin "These guys are the best when it comes to repairing and modifying bikes. However, they need some young mans to run errands, since we, adult bikers, are a little too proud to do it." 


"Phew I'm done with this" said a girl working.

"Hey, Melissa, I got the boys you need!" said Kevin. The girl answered Kevin "Wow, I appreciate that... But... These are not locals." "They are not indeed, let me introduce you to..." "Denzel!" said Denzel

"Daru nice to meet you"Said Daru and held out a hand for a handshake

"Sorry kid, my hands are all dirty. I don't like to handshake with them like this." said Melissa as she showed her dirty hands. She smiled at Daru and Denzel. "They seem to be from far away." said Kevin "Is it?" said Melissa "Then welcome to our town. I hope that Kevin taught you how it works here. But I can teach better than him!" "Come on!" said Kevin "Then, let me show you this place!"

"Well ok then"Said Daru"What kind of things do you make here by the way?"

"Bikes. All kind. Of course we want to focus on creating better ones, new models. Legendary beasts you could call them." Melissa showed them another room full of beautiful and different bikes. "This is our passion. It is what keeps our town alive. The noise and the smoke of the bikes, their brightness and their wonderfulness... They are the man's best friend."

"Impressive"Said Daru"These are truly some lovely bikes"

"So, starting now, you are going to run some errands for us, right?" asked Melissa "Yes." answered Denzel "Then I got a task for you right now. There is this guy named Zig who loves to ride his bike a little far from here. Get these scooters and deliver him this package."

"Sounds good to me"Said Daru"But uh...have you got a scooter i would fit on?"

"Don't worry" said Melissa "We have bikes that can handle any kind of person."

"Oh phew that's a relief"Said Daru and smiled"Still gonna have to lose some weight though eh?"

"That's true, if you can do that, you'll stay lovely." said Melissa as she blinked her right eye with a smile. "Haha.." said Denzel

"Why thank you...you're quite lovely yourself"Daru replied"Anyway do you want us to get going?"

"Yes. Zig is waiting for you." answered Melissa

"Just outside?"Asked Daru
