Sacred Gear Arena

Max leaped back and made sure to stay out of the way of the swords
"How can I beat someone with longer range than me...?"Max thought as he continued being driven back into the forest
As Max was being beaten further back he noticed a pattern with the sword wielding man's attacks
"He swings the left down...then the right down,followed by swinging upwards to finish"Max thought and prepared himself
As the man swung his left sword down,Max quickly punched him in the wrist and the man suddenly stopped moving for a second before the sword in his left hand hit the ground and he looked at his wrist

As Matt was still looking for good matches to watch, he managed to see Max's match and was amazed. "Amazing... He studied his enemy's moves and now he is taking advantage of his weak point!" he thought. He couldn't take his face off the screen with such a battle.

"What..was that?"The man asked
"Voidlord"Max said with a grin
The man then charged at Max who ran past after touching the man's hand,and he briefly paused again

"Woohoo, that's just amazing, oh my god, that freezing guy sounds so cool! I wonder what's his level... He is only using a Sacred Gear..." said Matt with excitement and hitting the screen with his fists.

After 30 or so minutes Max stopped and smiled at the man
"This was fun"Max said"Cya"
"Where do you think your going?"The man asked and ran up to him
"If we continue you might not be very happy"Max said poked the man's head freezing him"You've got 45 minutes and 20.5 seconds to stay still for now,have fun with that"
Max walked out of the Battledome smiling and looking at Voidlord

After Max got out of the Battledome, Matt stared at him with a look of admiration! Matt decided to run into his direction. "Wow, that was so cool! I watched your match, and your Sacred Gear is just awesome!" he shouted.

Max turned and look confused
"What are you talking about?"Max asked"Did I do something ?"

"Of course you did! That amazing match, you did it! How you evaded that guy's attack then counter attacked with the freezing status, it's just too awesome!" answered Matt with excitement.

"Oh...yeah!"Max said and brightened up slightly"Uh thanks..."

"Now, could you please tell me where did you get that Sacred Gear? Because it's really an amazing one!" asked Matt more calmly as he step back a little from Max.

"I just chose it"Max said"Like you chose whatever one you have"

"That's right, I'm also a sword user you know?!" said Matt.

"Like that guy?"Max said and laughed"A good one or...?"
