Future Diary a.k.a Mirai Nikki - The Third Universe

"My diary says that in ten minutes, I'll be shocked with something... What is it?" said Mike

"I'm not sure"Said Shonu"But if it's something shocking..."

"Maybe we should stay here inside and see if something changes." said Mike

Shonu was quiet for a minute then spoke
"Yeah uh.. sounds good to me!"Said Shonu"Mike you got some cards or something to pass time with?"

"No... I only carry this mp4 with me." answered Mike.

Arch threw a pack of cards onto the table and then looked at the two

"So what are we gonna play?"
"Maybe uh.."Shonu mumbled as he tried to remember a game"Hey uh.. Mike what do you wanna play?"

"How about a little poker? We pretend to have some coins. We'll use a paper to write our bets." said Mike.

"Sounds like a fun 10 minutes"Said Arch and brought his chair to the table
Shonu looked at the two then moved over to the table too
"I only wanted to play snap..."Shonu thought and then sighed quietly

"Will I be shocked because of a card game?" thought Mike.

"I haven't played this in a while so can someone refresh my memory on some of the rules?"Asked Shonu
"Wow.."Arch replied"Well i ain't a great teacher"

Mike explained the rules. It only took five minutes. "Do you understand now?" he asked.

"Yep got them stuck in my head now"Said Shonu grinning
"Let's start"Arch suggested"Is it alright if i go first?"

"No problem. Shuffle the cards then." said Mike

Arch shuffled the cards and the match began

Mike watched both his cards. It was a Queen of Spades and an Ace of Diamonds.

Shonu looked around nervously as Arch started his turn

Mike joined Arch's bet "Hmpf... Get ready to lose."

"Like heck i'm gonna lose"Arch said with a smirk"Better have a good hand to beat that"

They starting and playing. They revealed their cards and Arch won. Mike was surprised right in that moment. "Oh... After all, it was all because of a card game!" he said smiling and laughing.

"Used to play this all the time at the local bar"Arch said"With a beer in my hand ah good times..."
"What time is it now?"Asked Shonu obviously thinking about Mike's diary

"3:45 PM... Just like my diary... I don't know... I just thought that something was weird... I still think." said Mike.

The lights all suddenly went out

Mike got up immediately. "Every quiet and listen." Mike was quiet and steady and trying to hear a sound that could come from outside.

Arch nodded and grabbed a pistol from his right sleeve as footsteps came
"Someone's there"Shonu whispered as he turned in his chair

Mike was thinking "It was real. It is not because of the card game, it is someone! It is!"
