"I'll have to ask him"Said Shonu"Curiosity killed the cat,but i'm a sucker for interesting information"

"Calm down, dude. What if this guy is following us. He may want to kill us or lead us to someone." said Mike "Enjoy the ice cream first."

"I doubt he's following us"Said Shonu"Seeing as he's helping me and assisting with getting a new arm"

"Just a question. You seem to already know him somehow. Did you already met?" asked Mike

"Yeah I told you about it at the Hospital"Said Shonu"When I was a bit less inexperienced I funded the repairs to his arm after finding him on the street with a broken arm"

"Then let's hope that everything is okay. Talk to him if you want." said Mike

Shonu finished his ice cream and then ate the cone
"Yeah i think its for the best"Said Shonu"Make sure to stay close together in case though"

"Roger that" said Mike, ready to engage.

Shonu walked up to Arch's car,and he turned and smiled
"You ready Mr Kerufuda?"
"Uh...not yet Arch"Said Shonu"I wanted to talk about your Diary first,if that's ok"
"Sure thing"Said Arch and a red flash appeared from his eye again"But let's have a count up first Your Saver Diary,Mike's Mp4 Feelings diary and of course the unnamed first's Street Fighting diary he also has and then mine and your attacker"Arch put a finger on his chin"That's 5 diary users that we all know off now right?"
"What...? how could you possibly know all that"Asked Shonu and stepped back
"More than meets the eye Kerufuda"Said Arch and another red flash appeared"More than meets the eye"

Mike noticed Arch's eye. He thought for himself "What if his Diary is something... That he can only see, and nobody else can like mine and Shonu's?" But Mike decided to stay quiet. They were heading for the company.

"You see my diary of sorts started out like most others"Said Arch"But then it got altered a little so its not quite what'd you would expect"
"Has it got something to do with that red flash"
Arch nodded
"For now let's deal with your arm"Said Arch"Later we can talk about that perhaps"

And so they arrived at the company. It was a big and nice-looking building. Outside you could see the letters "Maruyama Inc.".

"Right let's get going then"Said Arch and started walking with heavy strides
Shonu followed but looked not only nervous,but scared

Mike looked at Shonu. This day could change Shonu's live forever, he knew that. They entered when they saw someone already expecting them.


"You are that brilliant genius who wants something with our company, aren't you?" said the doctor

"Uh yes sir"Said Shonu"I'm looking to get a mechanical arm"

"I see. I am doctor Maruyama. I also own this company. Now... You know that this involves a great responsability. Nor hospital or state is responsible for what happens here. This is a private organization. Plus, the cost is really high, but since you are famous, you should have no problem to afford it. Everything that happens to your body after this operation is not of our responsability, you'll have to take it at 100%? Understand?" said the doctor with a very serious tone.

"I accept"Said Shonu with a nod
"Been a while hasn't it Maruyama?"Said Arch"Been 2 years ago this was me standing here,except i was alone then"
"Wait you got your Mechanical arm here?"Asked Shonu
"Indeed i did"Arch replied and looked at Shonu with a red flash as he walked away for the surgery
Shonu's diary said in big black bold letter"DEAD END"...

Mike's mp4 reacted immediately. Mike wore his phones and could hear "3:26 PM I'm feeling very sad. They took me someone." "What?" Mike thought for himself. "What is going to happen here? Maybe it's better not to do the operation." "Then, just wait for a little here" said Maruyama

"Why what's wrong?"Asked Shonu confused"Did your diary do something?"
Arch said nothing and looked at Mike,as if asking him to explain it

Mike used his lips without talking. He was saying "Diary...".

Shonu took his notepad out from his pocket and opened it with a surprised look
"Dead End here...?"Said Shonu in a whisper then opened and closed the book before checking again"Hey would it be possible to have Arch come inside while i have the operation?"

The doctor arrived and listened to Shonu's question "Your familiars or friends that you bring stay at the corridor next to the surgery" Mike whispered to Shonu "Are you sure you wanna do it?"

"Yes but i need safety"Whispered Shonu back"If something goes bad i reckon that Arch is the kind of person to fix it"Shonu turned to the doctor"I mean like can he come into the surgery room staying silent and just watching?,it would make me feel more at ease"
Arch looked at Shonu and then at Shonu's diary,something had changed in it.Arch saw several paths now with only a few leading to "Dead End" while Shonu remained oblivious.

"You mean, you want Arch to observe you?" asked Mike

"Yes exactly that"Said Shonu and looked at the doctor"Would that be alright?"
Arch felt troubled by the paths on Shonu's diary but decided not to tell him to check as it was his Shonu's own buisness,and of course too risky to reveal he can read the last diary entry made by the user.
