Demons, Reapers all back in the day

Lucent paused for a moment
"This is quite a nice place isn't it?"He asked Bex

"Very much so." She said looking around the room. "I wonder how come Ciel is the Lord, after he must be 11-12 so where are his parents?"

Lucent shrugged
"I don't know"Lucent said"But im sure a lot of their guests wonder that"

The doors suddenly opened and Ciel and Sebastian stepped back in.
"My Master has kindly offered you both rooms for the night." Sebastian announced as Ceil sat back down.
"Thank you kindly." Bex said standing up and gave him a short bow. "If that so may I retire now?"
"Its only 7 my lady." Sebastian told her.
"I realise but I am awfully tried after running for so long I can relax a little." She told him.
"Very well my lady this way." Sebastian said as he led her out.
"Care for a game?" Ciel asked Lucent as he shuffled a card deck.

"Sure"Lucent replied putting his cup of tea on the table and sat fully upright

Ciel dealed the cards out.
"I will take a guess you know how to play old maid." He said to him as he picked up his cards. "But there is something else I would like to ask of you."

Sebastian has escorted Bex to her room and she took a quick look around it.
"I find everything is to your sanctification?" He asked.
"Yes... Thank you." She thanked him as she glanced around once more then to the light of the sinking sun out the window.
"Don't worry you are safe enough here." He told her. "But this clan who where they?"
"I'm not sure if..." She started worried.
"There is no reason to fear them here my lady, you are perfectly safe." He said placing a hand on her shoulder to re sure her. "I can resure you the information will not leave us."

'Before:
"Finding out the clan she had ran from could be useful information to us and this case. She seems to timid to let anything slip." Ciel told Sebastian.
"I don't think timid is the word. I believe she is hiding something, but she does not know who to trust for help." Sebastian told his master.
"Very well get close to her and hopefully gradually within the next few weeks or so she will be willing to tell you her information." Ciel told him. "And make sure you dispose of that lap dog following her."
"As you wish master." Sebastian bowed before they both returned to the room.'

She looked up at him seeing a smile come across his face she looked away.
"They called themselves The Blackened Alliance." She said no emotion to her voice as she glanced back upon it.
"They hurt you..." He said a question which he knew.
"Rituals they said it was for and that my pain would put a end to suffering in the world, although I had not much of a say in it. I was forced into a contract with their 'master' but before I knew anything I ran away." She said glancing down.
"Contract?" Sebastian said now more intrigued. "What about this contract?"
"..." She remained silent.
"Very well good night young mistress." He said before leaving her be in the room. "If you need anything feel free to call."

"And what would that be?"Lucent asked looking up,his right arm tensing slightly

"No need to be so tense now, but that demon that posses you. Whats the story behind him and you?" Ciel asked him.

"He is a greater demon from another realm"Lucent explained"Serving under Khorne,in the Lance family until he grew tired of their demands and sacrifices"

"You keep it well under wraps. For that we could use you in such a war, as I am sure you have herd of the demon lord? He is trying to if not already found his way into this world, which is very bad news for everyone. With his wrath he wants to cause the apocalypse, or so legend has it." Ciel told him. "Sebastian identified the demon dog chasing the girl as one of his. Which means the girl has more knowledge then she is letting us know and unfortunately for us that knowledge could help us in keeping the being at bay. Then again depending on the hold of your own demon you could also be a helpful ally, but tell your demon this one step out of line and you both will be sent back to Gehenna."
"Sir." Sebastian came back in and bowed.
"Found anything useful?" Ciel asked him.
"They are called the The Blackened Alliance she said nothing else about them besides something about a contract." Sebastian told him.
"You really don't think?" Ciel said looking at him. "Very well try as you must to find any mark she may have hidden, take your time but not to long the game is afoot and I believe missy here holds the key to what we need."
"Very well sir." Sebastian bowed before leaving again.

"We are one,like Raijin Thunderkeg"Lucent said"But what is all this talk of a demon lord and an apocalypse?"

"Does the name Astaroth ring any bells for you? He is a highly worshipped demons among many cults and many prefer him over Satan even if both of them are close allies. Some cults believe that bring him to this world that he will help them create a new. A new indeed but full of corruption and darkness." He explained to him. "We have been searching for clans that have the power to make this happen, so far we have them all but one."

"So you want to stop these clans?"Lucent asked intrigued "And is this clan,you are missing larger than the rest?"

"Yes these clans must be stopped, or we face a future of desolation. The Blackened Alliance is one I don't recognise as such so I can't say what kind of group we are dealing with. All we do know is that it is active. They have hid information about them well." He told him, as Sebastian enetered the room once more with a slize of cake for both of them.

"Surely if this girl knows about it then you should enter her mind while she sleeps"Lucent suggested"Would it not be easier than hoping she'll tell you?"

"She is human, but at this point we can not tell what that would do. It could cause all types of problems." Sebastian said placing down the cakes. "We decided this was the best path, as if the cult still has power they could wipe anything clean before we get in to her mind."

"I see.."Lucent said"But why am I needed in this?"

"Half demon and Half Human are you not? Why would we not acquire you. Your strength is unlike any other I could employ and since you have taken up a room. I assume you have no other place better to be and therefore I can offer you this a home with everything you require in order for your loyalty. I am building up my army and you sell serve as a knight." Ciel told him. "What do you say?"

"My current race would depends on a condition"Lucent said tapping his blindfold"But for accommodation, it is true I do not have one or a purpose either.But a knight.."

"Yes a knight so to say, I have some unruly pawns that are bound to flee when the skies darken. So I need to start building my field." Ciel told him. "So what do you say, will you play along?"

"I can join you,but I must think about my role"Lucent said"I may have to ask Tzu'Ze himself what he thinks about it"

"Very well give it time. I can assure you though any choicing to oppose me would be a bad idea upon your behalf." He said as he stood up. "Sebastian I am retiring for the evening, please see to it our guest feels welcome."
"Yes your Lord." He bowed before Ciel left.

Lucent was sitting still,deep in concentration

~Meanwhile in Lucent's Mind~
"Tzu'Ze I need to talk to you about something"Lucent called out,and saw a large dark figure move In the darkness surrounding him
"Get lost"A low voice said slowly then moved towards Lucent,flames appearing around it

"You may have taken my power and weapons but you have not taken me,so go away"

Sebastian escorted Ciel to his room helping him prepare for bed.

~In Lucent's Mind~
Lucent sighed and looked at Tzu'Ze walking back into the darkness
"What role should we take in the upcoming war?"He asked after a short silence
Tzu'Ze paused,then turned
"We?"
"I'll need you in a upcoming war or fights you know"Lucent said"Having a human body to fight in is difficult so I will need to work with you"Lucent paused then continued"If you work with me I can let you have more freedom so we're more allies then enemies"
"Its not just enough to steal my powers anymore then?"Tzu'Ze asked then walked away"But maybe..."
He disappeared into the darkness
"You'd make a good ambusher,attacking deep in enemy lines"A voice called out to Lucent and he smiled
